Tonopah Energy Center LLC ("TEC," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit tonopahenergycenter.com (the "Site"), contact us, or do business with us. TEC operates the Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project near Tonopah, Nevada, and is a subsidiary of Sons of Liberty Construction, Inc. ("SOLC"). We collect information to run our business, not to sell it.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: name, company, email address, phone number (if you choose to provide it), and the contents of messages you send through our contact forms, by email, or by phone; and information submitted in the course of vendor, supplier, or counterparty onboarding (business contact details, licensing and insurance information).

Information collected automatically: when you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring pages, using cookies and similar technologies for Site operation and, where enabled, analytics.

Information from other sources: business contact information from public sources, industry databases, and counterparties, used for ordinary business development and qualification purposes.

2. How We Use Information

  • To respond to inquiries and communicate about the plant, its operations, and our business.
  • To administer vendor, supplier, contractor, and counterparty relationships.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, safety, environmental, permitting, insurance, and audit obligations, including those applicable to electric generating facilities.
  • To protect the rights, safety, and property of TEC, our personnel, and the facility.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:

  • SOLC and its affiliates, for the business purposes described above. **The Site and its customer-relationship system are operated on a platform shared with SOLC, so contact submissions may be accessible to SOLC personnel as well as TEC personnel.**
  • Service providers who work on our behalf, including the third-party platform that hosts the Site and provides our customer-relationship management system, which stores contact-form submissions, and providers of IT, insurance, legal, and accounting services, under obligations to protect the information.
  • Counterparties, regulators, and grid or market operators where required for plant operations, interconnection, market participation, site access, badging, or safety compliance.
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

4. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and, where enabled, analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some Site features.

5. Data Retention and Security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law, contract, or regulatory, insurance, and licensing obligations, and we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to obtain a copy of it. Nevada residents may also have the right to direct us not to sell certain covered information, which we do not do. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we will respond as required by applicable law.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal that decision by contacting us at the address below. We will respond to your appeal within the timeframe required by applicable law, and if we deny the appeal, we will provide information about how to contact the applicable state attorney general.

The Site is intended for business and general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

The Site may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we do not control.
